1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any feature of StaffAround, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
• You agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
• If using on behalf of a household or organisation, you have authority to bind that entity.

Use of StaffAround — whether on the free tier or a paid plan — constitutes acceptance of these Terms in full. For paid plans, completing a subscription or in-app purchase additionally confirms your agreement to any applicable payment terms.

2. Description of Service

StaffAround is a utility application that provides:

• Attendance marking and record-keeping for domestic and household staff.
• Salary calculation based on attendance data entered by the user.
• Cash advance tracking and recording against staff salary.
• Staff notes for logging observations, incidents, or reminders.
• Salary slip generation and sharing features.
• Push notification reminders as a convenience feature.
• Multi-member household access for shared attendance marking.

StaffAround is a record-keeping and calculation tool only. It does not employ staff, manage employment relationships, provide HR or legal advice, or guarantee the accuracy of any output generated from user-entered data.

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Accuracy of Data

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of all data you enter, including attendance records, salary amounts, and advance entries. Verify all salary calculations before making any payment to your staff.

3.2 Staff Data

You confirm that you have informed your staff members that their attendance and salary data is being recorded digitally, and that you will handle their data in accordance with applicable law.

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@staffaround.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Salary Calculation & Free Web Tools Disclaimer

The salary calculation feature is a mathematical convenience tool based entirely on data you enter. We do not guarantee accuracy, provide payroll advice, or account for taxes or statutory deductions unless entered by you. You must independently verify all salary calculations before making any payment.

4.1 Web Calculator (staffaround.com)

We offer free web-based tools on staffaround.com, including the salary calculator, which you may use without an account. These tools perform calculations entirely within your browser using only the figures you enter. Their results are estimates provided for your convenience and do not constitute payroll, tax, accounting, legal, or financial advice.

Any document produced by these tools — including any PDF salary slip — is generated by you from your own inputs. It is not a certified, official, or legally binding payslip or tax record, and it may not reflect the taxes, statutory deductions, overtime, or other amounts required in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your inputs, for verifying every figure before making any payment, and for compliance with all applicable labour, tax, and employment laws. To the fullest extent permitted by law, these tools are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we accept no liability arising from your use of them or your reliance on their output.

5. Notifications Disclaimer

Push notifications are provided as a convenience feature only. We do not guarantee delivery, timing, or reliability of any notification. Your obligation to pay your staff on time exists independently of any notification from this App.

6. Attendance Records Disclaimer

All attendance records are created and controlled by you. StaffAround records are not certified records and should not be relied upon as sole evidence in any legal or employment dispute.

7. Subscription Plans and Payments

7.1 Free Tier

The free tier is provided without charge and includes limited features. We reserve the right to modify, restrict, or discontinue the free tier at any time with reasonable notice.

7.2 Paid Plans

Plus and Pro (monthly or yearly) plans are billed as selected at purchase. All prices are displayed in your local currency at checkout.

7.3 Payment Processing

Subscriptions are purchased and billed through the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) using RevenueCat as our subscription management layer. We do not collect, process, or store your payment card details. By subscribing, you additionally agree to Apple's or Google's applicable payment and subscription terms.

7.4 Refund Policy

• All purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Refund eligibility is governed by the Apple App Store refund policy or Google Play refund policy respectively.
• You may request a refund directly through the App Store or Play Store for eligible purchases.
• We cannot issue refunds directly — all billing is handled by Apple or Google.

7.5 Cancellation

Subscriptions are managed through your App Store or Play Store account. To cancel: on iOS go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions; on Android go to Google Play → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — access continues until that date.

7.6 Price Changes

We will notify you at least 30 days before any price change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim. For free users, our maximum aggregate liability shall not exceed the equivalent of one month of the lowest-priced paid plan in your region.

We are not liable for: loss of data, loss of income or profits, salary payment disputes between you and your staff, labour law violations, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Data and Privacy

We collect and process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the App you consent to such collection and processing. You are the data fiduciary for your staff members' personal data and are responsible for compliance with applicable data protection law in your jurisdiction.

10. Intellectual Property

StaffAround, including its code, design, branding, and content, is owned by Sanora Technologies. You retain ownership of all data you enter into StaffAround.

11. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Enter false, misleading, or fabricated attendance or salary data.
• Use the App to harass or discriminate against any staff member.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
• Resell or sublicense access to the App without our written permission.

12. Account Deletion

You may delete your account from Settings → Delete Account (in which case all your data is deleted immediately), or by contacting support@staffaround.com (in which case all your data is deleted within 15 days of your request). Active subscriptions are cancelled without refund for the remaining period. Deletion is irreversible.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Users in specific jurisdictions retain rights under their local consumer protection and data protection laws, including UK GDPR (UK), PDPA (Singapore), and UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (UAE/GCC).

Users in the United States: Disputes shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration under AAA rules, not in court. Class actions are waived.

Before filing any formal complaint, please contact us at support@staffaround.com and allow 30 days for informal resolution.

14. Changes to These Terms

Updated Terms will be posted at staffaround.com/terms. For material changes, we will notify you via push notification or email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
